Meet The Team

Jeanmarie

owner & stylist

JeanMarie attended The Aveda Institute in St. Petersburg, Fl. Upon graduating she studied The Masters Program at Aveda. She moved back to the area to work at The Mix. Fourteen years later she purchased The Mix Salon Spa from previous owners Randy and Jim. She has over 15 years experience as a stylist and is passionate about continuing education. She specializes in color and blonding, curly hair, edgy cuts, pixies, bobs.She enjoys music festivals, gardening and strength training.

MAGdalena

owner & stylist

Owner/Senior Stylist

Magdalena grew up in Poland where she attended hair school after college. She worked as a stylist in New York before moving to DeLand, Fl. She worked as a stylist for The Mix for six years before purchasing The Mix Salon Spa with her business partner JeanMarie. She specializes in short hair, perms and color. She enjoys spending time with her kids and husband as well as taking continuing education classes.

kyrsten

stylist

Kyrsten Graduated from Aveda institute Orlando in 2016. She specializes in Blondes and long textured layers. She Grew up and resides in DeLand, Fl. She is mom of 3 girls. Along with hair her hobbies are doing anything outdoors, hiking, swimming, and biking.

Erin

stylist

Erin specializes in cuts, color, intricate braided/updo styling and henna tattoos. She graduated from the academy of cosmetology in Merritt Island in the summer of 2018. Following her graduation she competed in her first pro styling competition and won first place. This experience has led her to love updo work and bridal hairstyling while incorporating different intricate braids. Erin loves art, long distance running and singing.

stylist

Jamie has worked as a stylist for over a decade and truly loves her craft. She recently relocated to Deland from California. Being able to enhance each client's natural beauty is her favorite part of her job. She specializes in highlighting, balayage, cutting and updos. When her hands aren't full of hair, you can find her juggling her three kids and husband.

Anna is Licensed Esthetician. She Graduated from Aveda Institute Orlando March of 2023. She specializes in Body waxing, Brow tinting, Lash extensions, manicures, pedicures & Relaxing facials.

KAYLYN

ESTHETICIAN MASSAGE

Kaylyn graduated from Aveda Institute Orlando as an esthetician in June 2023. While in school, she discovered her passion for massage therapy, which led her to return to school and graduate with a degree in massage therapy in April 2024. Kaylyn specializes in relaxing facials, brow art, manicures, pedicures, and massage. She enjoys dancing, practicing nail art, and spending time with her pets.
