We are a hair salon owned by passionate and experienced stylists committed to bringing out the best in every client who walks through our doors. Our approach is centered on collaboration and teamwork, and we strive to make every visit to our welcoming environment a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone. Meet The Team

Jeanmarie

owner & stylist

JeanMarie attended The Aveda Institute in St. Petersburg, Fl. Upon graduating she studied The Masters Program at Aveda. She moved back to the area to work at The Mix. Fourteen years later she purchased The Mix Salon Spa from previous owners Randy and Jim. She has over 15 years experience as a stylist and is passionate about continuing education. She specializes in curly hair, pixies, bobs and color.She enjoys music festivals, gardening and camping.

Owner/Senior Stylist

Magdalena grew up in Poland where she attended hair school after college. She worked as a stylist in New York before moving to DeLand, Fl. She worked as a stylist for The Mix for six years before purchasing The Mix Salon Spa with her business partner JeanMarie. She specializes in short hair, perms and color. She enjoys spending time with her kids and husband as well as taking continuing education classes.

Kyrsten Graduated from Aveda institute Orlando in 2016. She specializes in Blondes and long textured layers. She Grew up and resides in DeLand, Fl. She is mom of 3 girls. Along with hair her hobbies are doing anything outdoors, hiking, swimming, and biking.

Anna is Licensed Esthetician. She Graduated from Aveda Institute Orlando March of 2023. She specializes in Body waxing, Brow tinting, Lash extensions, manicures, pedicures & Relaxing facials.

miranda

massage

As a native Floridian, Miranda has been actively assisting clients toward better health and wellness through massage since 2012. She has had the privilege of working with various populations from Olympic athletes to treasured grandparents. She loves providing a relaxing massage to stressed muscles, but also enjoys a good challenge through the use of deep tissue and neuromuscular work for pain management. Your massage may include the use of hot stones & aromatherapy and will be completely tailored to your individual needs and goals. Offering 30, 60, & 90 minute sessions.
